Fife-based Rebecca Sharp is an interdisciplinary artist whose work encompasses poetry, plays and performance. In 2022-2024 she was the inaugural Artist-in-Residence with the Centre for Energy Ethics at St Andrews University, writing her new poetry collection Long Field Loop. A regular reader at poetry and literary events and festivals throughout Scotland and the UK, her work explores ideas of landscape and place, especially concerning Scottish locations, culture and history.

Rebecca received the Literature Matters Award from the Royal Society of Literature to write the 2021 published poetry collection Rough Currency, a deft exploration of humanity's entanglement with a reliance on fossil fuels and oil companies
